Author and journalist. Born in Argentina. Living and working in Paris since 1969, and between Europe and Buenos Aires since 2006.
His plays include Goddess and, in collaboration with Rafael López Sánchez, L'Histoire du Théâtre, Comédie Policière, Futura, L'Interprétation and Succès.
His first contribution to Vogue Paris was a piece for Marlene Dietrich's special 1975 Christmas issue. As a regular contributor of Vogue Paris he wrote about the Parisian cultural scene, New York, the theatre and the arts, and worked with photographers such as Horst, Hurrell and Helmut Newton. His column, Oh, les beaux mondes, ran in the magazine until 1980.
In the 1980s his monthly column, Out in Paris, written with Rafael López-Cambil, ran in Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine, where he also published several other pieces.
In the 1980s and '90s he was a creative associate of the international brand Paloma Picasso – most particularly the fragrance and cosmetics lines and the accessories line. In this context, he co-wrote and co-directed with Rafael López-Cambil the short feature Le Parfum d'une Image.
Since 1988 he is a regular contributor of Vogue Italia and L'Uomo Vogue. His work, which focuses on the analysis and commentary of social trends and popular culture, fashion and consumerism, has also appeared in Vanity Fair and the American editions of Vogue and House & Garden, as well as in the Italian Vanity Fair and in Argentina’s daily La Nación. In 2008 he started a collaboration with the Argentinian magazine Sophia.
In 2002 he published Roberto Cavalli (Mémoire de la Mode, Assouline) and contributed to kARTell (Skira).
